This tribal motif of a farmer comes from Bastar - a region in India known for its craftsmanship of diverse brass figures. The vintage art piece exudes charm and lets you dream of the distant tribal peoples in the tropical and colorful landscape of India. The brass statues were made around the early 20th century and, due to their age, can vary in color from reddish or brown, to black, to green-bluish and their surface can show signs of aging (such as small scratches).
